Construction Schedule
Phase 1 construction began May 2023 and is expected to be complete in the summer of 2025.
The schedule is weather permitting and subject to change.
The construction schedule is split into three parts:

COMPLETE
​Southbound (SB) Queen Way to Los Altos May - Nov. 2023
Roadway and slope excavation, roadway fills, drainage work, nighttime pipe work, installation of retaining wall, aggregate base and initial paving for new widening, resurfacing of the existing roadway, riprap (large rock) and other erosion control measures

Northbound (NB) Queen Way to Los Altos Nov. 2023 - Oct. 2024
Roadway and slope excavation, roadway fills, drainage work, nighttime pipe work, aggregate base, curb and gutter, sidewalk, new concrete barrier rail, intelligent transportation systems (ITS) and other electrical infrastructure

All of Los Altos to Golden View Drive Sept. 2023 - Dec. 2024
Roadway and slope excavation, roadway fills, drainage work, nighttime pipe work, installation of multiple sound/screen walls, aggregate base, curb and gutter, sidewalk, new concrete barrier rail, intelligent transportation systems (ITS) and other electrical infrastructure, initial paving and resurfacing of roadway, riprap and other erosion control measures
Working Hours
Normal hours are Monday - Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Nighttime hours:
SB work is Sunday - Friday, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
NB work is Sunday - Friday, 9 p.m. to 7 a.m.
